A Powerful Spell to Grow your Finances

Beat the recession with our ‘growing money’ spell!

This month we will focus on how to utilise the power of magic to boost your finances. This spell can be either a long-term one to put money in your pocket over time or it can be made to work more quickly in the short term, if you use fast growing seeds. As a general rule, use slow growing seeds to promote long term financial growth and fast growing ones for an injection of cash when you need it.

You will need:

• An earthenware pot
• Potting compost (multi-purpose)
• Silver, copper and brass coins of the realm
• Basil or dill seeds for long term growth of your finances or mustard and cress for a quick fix.

Wear something green, the colour of abundance when casting this spell. Fill the pot with the compost, running your fingers through it and letting handfuls of it fall back into the pot. As you do this visualise money coming your way and think of all the ways in which your life will be improved by the money you are attracting to you.

Press the coins, one by one, as deep into the soil as you can in a circle. Brass coins draw the power of the Sun, silver ones attract the Moon’s blessing and copper coins attract Venus’s attention. When you have finished, plant the seeds in the soil according to the instructions on the packet, and as you do so, say:

• Plants grow strong.
• Plants grow healthy
• And please, ere long
• Make me wealthy.
• And it harm none, so be it.

Place the pot in a light, sunny position, neither too hot or too cold and keep the compost moist without over-watering. As your plants grow strong and healthy, so should you become more wealthy.

It is very important when carrying out any magical work to clear your mind and project a positive attitude, do not let any negative thoughts enter your mind at this time.

If by chance the plants fail to grow or bloom and wither before the spell has worked, don’t despair. Remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day and multi-millionaire Bill Gates experienced several years of comparative poverty before Microsoft worked its magic for him! Simply plant new seedlings and wait until fortune smiles on you as it did on Bill Gates, a positive attitude is essential to the success of this and any other spell.
